Lost & Found Animals  
Please call (608)935-1381 with any information or email us at office@ichs.net.  We will do courtesy posts on our facebook page of lost or found animals, just email us the information or send us a message on facebook.

Stray Animals
Stray animals that are brought into the shelter are put on a state mandated 4 day stray hold to give their rightful owner a chance to claim them.  After day 4, ICHS takes ownership of the animal and is able to find it a new home.

Reclaim Costs
ICHS does charge for housing your lost animal, the fees include:
    Intake Fee: $30.00
    Per Day Housing Fee: $15.00
Vaccinations and other medical care given while at ICHS, for the protection of our other animals.  

Microchip Service
We can microchip your animal at the shelter for $15, then if they do become lost, they can be easily identified and returned to you.
