The Iowa County Humane Society (ICHS) is a non-profit, no kill animal shelter. We run mostly on donations.  Please consider donation help us continue to help the animals. ICHS relies on volunteers! From the Board members to the Cat Cuddlers, Fosters and those helping us clean or maintain the facilities – we can use all types of volunteers. The Iowa County Humane Society (ICHS) will be holding Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes at the shelter with AKC Certified CGC trainers Joy Richardson and Pam Richardson
Training Classes: Sundays, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21 from 1-3PM
CGC Certification Test: 4/28 (Sun) 1-3PM

Costs: We ask for a $75 donation (paid in advance)
Spaces available: 10 (sign up now, the spots usually fill fast)

ICHS Annual Meeting March 4th, 5:30PM at the Shelter

The Iowa County Humane Society will hold its annual meeting on Mar. 4th, 5:30PM at the shelter.  The agenda will include approving the Minutes from last Annual Mtg, Board President's Year in Review, Executive Director Comments, Kennel Manager Animal Stats, Treasurer Report, Committee Reports, electing board members and determining the nomination committee for the 2025 board members.  The nomination committee for 2024 have nominated Dawn Venden, Cammi Riley and Deb Morgan for 3 year terms.  Lisa Cvengros for a 1 year term. There are no proposed bylaw changes.
